Other Minnesota Clubs

For each of the following clubs, you do not have to notify anyone whether you plan to come or not.  Just show up!!  You can leave early any time you need to, just notify the director so that pairings can be adjusted.  You do not need to attend every week.  You do not need to bring your own board or supplies.  Since each of these games uses a clock and each person gets 25 minutes, each game lasts about 50 minutes.  Four games are played.

NSA Club 42 (Director is Steve Pellinen) meets in Richfield every Tuesday at the Bridge Center located at 6020 Nicollet Avenue.  Parking is in the back.  Enter the back door, go down the stairs, turn to the right -- there they are.  Games begin at 6:00 p.m.  Cost is $1 per game.  This group has an optional prize fund of $1 per night.

During the fall, winter, and spring, NSA Club 42 has a Wednesday afternoon group.  Go to NSA Club 42's web site for details.  http://www.bachster.com/scrabble/

NSA Club 651 (Director is Carol Dustin) meets in Roseville every Thursday at La Casita.  It is a Mexican restaurant located at 1925 Perimeter Road,  just west of Rosedale Mall.  Play begins at 5:30 p.m. and there is no cost to play.  This group has an optional prize fund of $1 per night.  The restaurant does appreciate patronage.  Staff is friendly.  Go to NSA Club 42's website for details.  Yes, this is correct -- Club 42 and Club 651 are basically the same club, just different locations.  http://www.bachster.com/scrabble/

NSA Club 700 (Director is Jeff Prentiss) meets in Coon Rapids the first and third Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to about 6:00 p.m. at Outpost 2000 & Beyond, 9243 East River Road NW.  This is a fairly new group that welcomes new players.  No website at this time for this club.
